We are a fifth grade class of 25 students. We are a small school of =

215 students in K-6. The name of our school is Lone Rock. We are the =

oldest operating school in Montana. We are a rural school that sits out =

in the country. If you find Stevensville on a map, we are just ten =

miles from there. Out sports name is the Lone Rock Rockets. Our sports =

are mostly within the school.

We live in a valley with mountains on the east and west sides. One of =

the tallest peaks is called St. Mary's Peak. The school is next to the =

volunteer fire department. Our climate is cold in the winter and pretty =

warm in the summer. In the summer it stays light until about 10:00 P.M.

The activities we enjoy outside of school are football, basketball, =

sledding and skiing. When it's sunny we like to play kickball, =

baseball, go shopping, hiking, and camping. Sometimes we like to just =

watch TV or listen to music. We have a variety of places to go =

swimming: the University pool, neighboring ponds, the river, or Nimrod =

Hot Springs.

We hope you have good luck and a good time with the Landmark Game.
