Hello Landmark Game Friends,

The town our class lives in is called Ashby. We live near the coast of

The Atlantic Ocean. Ashby is at the top center of Massachusetts in the

U.S.A. Ashby is a small town between some large towns with Fitchburg to

its south, Townsend to its east, Ashburnham to its west and New

Hampshire to its north. It has one diner, one library, two markets (one

with a gas station), a mechanical shop/auto dealership, of course a

school, and a post office. We also have a memorial to John Fitch , and

an old tavern with a ballroom, sleeping areas, and more. It is a small

but lively town. Our population is about 2,000 people. We have a Common

in the middle of our town. The center of town has one store, a post

office and two churches. Most houses are spread far apart. Ashby is a

historical town with something going every day. We have a Mountain in

our town called Mt. Watatic.

We are a fifth grade class at Ashby Elementary school, a small school in

Massachusetts. We take pride in representing our school and our town in

your wonderful Internet landmark game. We have learned much about

landmarks and hope to do well. Our class is made up of 27 students. Mr.

Hogan is our teacher. He is teaching us about world geography. We hope

this game will be a fun and educational experience. Our class is one of

the most hard working classes I've ever seen. All projects are done with

the most creative work in the whole school!

Good luck and have fun.
