Salutations from Spring Lake Heights Elementary School!

We are sixth grade students from the small town of Spring Lake Heights with a population of about 6,000. We live right by the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast of New Jersey. The states of New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware form our other boundaries. We are about an hour away from the two large cities of New York and Philadelphia. Most people travel out of town to go to work.
There are many fun things to do here. You can go to the beach in the summer, play sports year-round and sled and snowboard in the winter. Some famous people from our area are Bruce Springsteen, Jack Nicholson and the rocker Jon Bon Jovi. Jack Nicholson went to our high school and came back to visit this year!
We have about 400 kids in our K-8 school. Our school colors are blue and gold and our nickname is the Braves. Our school is a very nice place. Our teachers are fun and wonderful! There are many extra curricular activities at our school, such as soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, student council, math club, drama club, science club, art club, computer club, band and chorus. Our school is a great place!
We are very excited to be participating in the Landmark Game. We are eager to begin. We hope you do well and good luck! SEE YOU IN THE GAME!
