Liberty School is located in the northwest part of New Jersey. Our
school is situated on a hill that overlooks beautiful rural landscape.
It is a K- 4 school. Our students attend our middle school for 5-8 and
then are sent to a nearby community for high school.
Great Meadows is about 50 miles northeast of Philadelphia and about 50
miles west of New York City. So, you can see we are rural but only a
very short distance from two very large cities and all that they have to
offer. Many of our parents commute into the city of New York to work. In
the midst of Great Meadows is a small but beautiful natural lake that
many of our students live at. Other students live on farms. These farms
are very different. Great Meadows is known for its wonderful "muck"
lands. Muck lands are rich, dark, muddy soil that is great for growing
sod!! So there are several sod farms in our area. Perhaps if you have
new grass around your school or home, and it was not grown from seed, it
may have come from Great Meadows!
We are looking forward to participating in the Landmark Game. Good Luck
to you all.
