Hi! We are two classes made up of 7th grade students that attend Hong Kong International School. There are about 50 students in the two classes combined. About half of the us are from America and the rest are from countries all over the world. Our teachers are Mrs. Crouch and Mrs. Christensen.

Our school is circular and vertical (8 floors!). Our lockers are outside. The halls are outside for the reason that the weather is usually nice with a lot of rain.

Hong Kong is an island very close to China. Hong Kong is made up of many tiny islands located in the South China Sea. Hong Kong used to be under British rule, until the hand over in 1997 when it once again went under Chinese rule. When you look around Hong Kong you see mostly blue, green, and gray. Blue for the water, green for the trees and little grass, and gray for the apartment buildings. Land is very expensive because there isn't much, so there are not many houses, only apartments.

Shopping is a major activity here. Stanley Market is a great place near our school to go shopping when you are bored. It has a lot of stalls in narrow alleys with everything for half price. Brand names like Ambercrombie and Fitch, Gap, Esprit, and Roxy.
Hong Kong is a very safe place. Kids can walk all over Hong Kong (even at night!) without a chaperone. Most houses have a beach nearby and if you are bored with nothing to do you can go down to the beach and have a great time with you friends.

We are looking forward to playing landmark with you!
