The Recommended Problems are designed to build SDP student mathematics communication and problem-solving skills, while reinforcing topics that have been covered, based on the District's Planning and Scheduling Timelines for 2006-07.

Jennifer Johnson says, "With Special Needs students I would use it as a review or homework assignment. If resources permit, the class could actually follow the recipe or a similar recipe and have a class bake sale, or give them to staff and faculty."
