Investigating Geometry Summary
Monday - Friday, July 14 - 18, 2008
This week was spent working on the three final projects:
A middle school project investigating the Pythagorean theorem.
A high school project investigating an inquiry/conjecture/proof based philosophy
of teaching Geometry.
A project comparing four popular software packages (Geometer's Sketchpad, Cabri,
Geogebra, and Cinderella).
People were focused and working hard, and we spent the last forty-five minutes of
Friday's working group sharing the progress of each project with the other groups,
including a number of sketchpad documents.
