| Description: |
Enables students to plot points in scatterplot by simply moving the mouse cursor to a desired location and clicking the left mouse button. After two points are entered into the scatterplot, a line, passing through the points is displayed in the applet. With more than two points, error bars are displayed, and the line becomes the regression line or "line of best fit" in the scatterplot. The slope value associated with the regression line is displayed. Users can "grab" points, move them around, and see the corresponding changes in the regression line and slope. |
