I was just searching for simplifying tools for my lesson plan and found it.

It was a simple way of presenting the idea of simplifying to students. It encouraged participation to help better understand.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
The student needs to know how to work with a variable. How do combine and simple operations of algebra.

No hardware expertise knowledge is required.
What extra things must be done to make it work?
Nothing. It was really simple and easy.
