Teacher Review (Not based on classroom experience)
Reviewer: Craig, Aug 4 2004 02:06:26:580PM
Review based on:
personal experience
Appropriate for:
introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings
Other Comments:
A nice feature is the "open-endedness" of the tool; a good description of the process of angle bisector construction, then a chance to practice.
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
None, really.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
None
What extra things must be done to make it work?
I (and another teacher) had trouble getting some of the tools to work as described; we eventually got what we expected.
How hard was it for you to learn?
Ok
Explanation:
The tool is not particularly easy or straightforward; reading the directions does help (but who ever reads the directions first?).
Ability to meet my goals:
Effective
