Teacher Review (Not based on classroom experience)Reviewer: Craig, Aug 4 2004 02:06:26:580PM |
Review based on: personal experience |
Appropriate for: introduction to a concept, practice of skills and understandings |
Other Comments: A nice feature is the "open-endedness" of the tool; a good description of the process of angle bisector construction, then a chance to practice. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? None, really. |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? None |
What extra things must be done to make it work? I (and another teacher) had trouble getting some of the tools to work as described; we eventually got what we expected. |
How hard was it for you to learn? Ok |
Explanation: The tool is not particularly easy or straightforward; reading the directions does help (but who ever reads the directions first?). |
Ability to meet my goals: Effective |
Recommended for: Geometry: Angles, Construction and loci |
