This book includes activities that ask students to predict the results of the planned simulation. Students will carry out numerous trials of the simulation using the Probability Simulation Application installed on their graphing calculators and record their findings. Students then revisit their predictions and compare them to their findings. Through these different activities, students can begin to reconcile their inaccurate intuitions about probability with the more accurate and mathematically correct concepts.
