This is an abstract of a presentation at The 8th International Congress on Math Education (ICME 8), July 14-21, 1996 in Seville, Spain..

Performance in geometry of students at secondary level is far from satisfactory. Many attempts are being made to improve upon this situation by using computer. The present paper is an attempt to make the student familiar sequencial steps of geometrical proof by Video screen through an interactive discussion between teachers and students. It is observed that this is not sufficient for the students to grasp the logical steps of proof. Next exposure is the use of Computer to furnish three to four choices for every step of proof. Students are advised to select the correct choice. The method indicated in this paper is found to be more effective for stronger foundation of geometry learning than what could be done otherwise.Dr. G. Bajani, Howrah, West Bengal
