Back to NCTM San Diego: WWW and Pedagogy

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

This session will present tips on accessing the Internet, conducting searches for appropriate resources and activities for the math classroom, and give lists of useful URLs and LISTSERVs for the math teacher. Several telecommun-ications projects conducted in a middle school will also be presented, as well as a demonstration of a telecommunications package, OnRamp Client, developed specifically for students.
