This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

Some techniques to take students beyond "normal" problem solving strategies into the realm of decision making. Graphing calculators will be available for use during this session (or bring your own).
