Back to NCTM San Diego: Problem Solving

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

This minicourse will provide participants with a collection of activities that encourage problem-solving in a variety of mathematical topics as well as the opportunity to try several of them. Participants will receive some "home-made" manipulatives and ideas for using them in the primary classroom.
