Presentation Summary


This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

The purpose of this presentation is to help teachers better understand how learning disabilities can interfere with the development of math skills, help teachers to diagnose specific skill breakdowns through the use of task analysis, and to provide a potpourri of suggested strategies, activities and materials to implement effective remediation of computational difficulties.
