Presentation Summary

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

Many cultures have produced challenging puzzles which can be made from readily available materials. Participants in this session will use free or inexpensive materials to create puzzles and explore their math properties and principles, including geometry, graph theory and topology. All creations will be taken home to share with family, colleagues and students.Wei Zhang (Key Curriculum Press, Berkeley, CA)
