Presentation Summary

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

Students of all ages and academic abilities are intrigued and challenged by strategic games. Participation in interactive games develops better problem solving, logical thinking, computational, and geometric/spatial mathematics skills. Ideas for incorporating games into ongoing math instruction, classroom management, grouping, school to home involvement and assessment will be shared.John del Regato (Pentathlon Institute, Indianapolis, IN)
