Getting to Know the Connected Mathematics Project: A Grades 6-8 Curriculum

The Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) was funded by the National science Foundation to develop a complete mathematics curriculum with teacher support materials for the middle grades 6, 7, and 8. The curriculum is devoted to developing studnet knowledge and understanding of mathematics that is rich in connections and is organized around interesting problem settings. The instructional model encourages higher level thinking.
