| Paul Dry Books has republished three of Lillian Lieber's books on mathematics: The Education of T.C. MITS: What Modern Mathematics Means to You, Infinity: Beyond the Beyond the Beyond, and Einstein's Theory of Relativity. Lillian Lieber was the head of the Department of Mathematics at Long Island University. She wrote a series of lighthearted and well-respected math books in the 1940s, including the above titles, and Mits, Wits & Logic. Her husband, Hugh Gray Lieber, was the head of the Department of Fine Arts at Long Island University and illustrated many of his wife's books. | |
