| This non-profit organization "facilitates the national scale-up of programs that have a demonstrated impact on math and science education in the United States." Programs include the Training and Incentive Programs, which encourage excellence among teachers and students of Pre-AP and AP courses; and UTeach, which encourages math and science majors to enter the teaching profession by offering compact degrees (graduation in four years with teacher certification and a B.S. degree in mathematics or science) and financial assistance for undergraduates. | |
