Description: An interdisciplinary unit at Chalmers University of Technology in the field of computational mathematical modeling and scientific-industrial computing. It is formed by groups in the Departments of Electromagnetics, Mathematics, Solid Mechanics, and Structural Mechanics. Prime goals are: development of a general adaptive differential equation solver, including theoretical basis, mesh generation and CAD; applications of the general solver to fluids, solids, electromagnetics, chemistry, and multi-physics, including aspects of optimization; academic and industrial cooperation; support of education; and organization of workshops.
