Description: With the advent of the World Wide Web and the huge amount of information it contains, students need to be able to evaluate a Web page for authenticity, applicability, authorship, bias, and usability. To help teachers get students started with this process, Kathy Schrock has designed a series of evaluation surveys, one each at the elementary, middle, and secondary school levels. At the elementary level, the survey is available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. Also an article on how to tell good sites from bad, an annotated bibliography evaluating sites, and articles by others.
