| SpaceShape is a Windows95 program that allows various 3D shapes to be created and then flattened so that a pattern can be printed to make a model of the 3D shape. Various 3D shapes are supplied with the program (octahedron, dodecahedron, icosahedron, etc). These shapes can be manipulated in various ways to produce more complicated shapes. The 3D shape can then be flattened into a net that can be printed out on one or more sheets of paper. The net can then be used as a template to cut cardboard or wood to produce a model of the 3D shape. A free 10-day trial version is available for demonstration. | |
