| Don Shimamoto, Swarthmore College | |
| Six sketches related to hyperbolic geometry. One illustrates that hyperbolic reflection in the Poincare disk corresponds to Euclidean inversion. Two sketches illustrate transformations that may or may not be hyperbolic rotation and translation. One sketch is a construction of a regular right-angled pentagon in the Poincare disk. The other two sketches illustrate the Euclidean and hyperbolic versions of Morley's Theorem. Three of the sketches were created by students in Don's class. Notes on Don Shimamoto's presentation at the Sketchpad User's Group Meeting in Cincinatti in January 1994. | |
