| The PostCALC Project is a branch of the Connected Curriculum Library that presents interactive, mathematically-based modules designed for high school students who have finished a year-long course in calculus. These modules, each appropriate for several weeks' work by individuals or small groups of students, illustrate the use of calculus in a wide range of applications: Maple tutor, Fourier approximations and music, introduction to differential equations, population growth models, distributions of data, the SIR model for spread of disease, and systems of differential equations: models of species interaction. With links to Web Feats, summer workshops for high school teachers who want to learn how to create interactive online materials. | |
