Description: Almost any artist could tell you that there is some kind of mathematical or symmetrical pattern involved in creating pictures. Art doesn't necessarily require addition, subtraction, division, or multiplication. There is, however, a great need for geometric shapes and figures... From What Good is Math?, a site designed to show middle school students how math is useful in their everyday lives. To explore geometry and art, you may download a Macintosh application that requires HyperCard 2.3 or HyperCard Player 2.3.
