| A non-profit research and education organization dedicated to the advancement of science and math education, specifically through the use of modeling and simulation technologies. Interactive middle school lessons aligned with curricula are available through Shodor's Project Interactivate. For interactive models and curricular materials, the Foundation offers its MASTER: Modeling and Simulation Tools for Education Reform resources, including a galaxy simulation, simulated annealing, biomedical and environmental models, and a simulation of Edgar Allen Poe's "Pit and the Pendulum." Also available are summer and Saturday programs and workshops for kids; professional development opportunities through the Shodor Computational Science Institute; and an online Braille instruction program. | |
