| STIMULUS gives Cambridge University students the opportunity to assist experienced teachers in local schools, where they help weekly in mathematics, science, computing, information technology, design technology, and personal, social & health education lessons, working with pupils of all ages and abilities. University students provides important role models for younger pupils and helpful careers advice in addition to mathematical tutoring. Each year about 70 volunteers help in 27 local schools and the online answering service helps many more. Join the project; become a Peer Assisted Learning, or PAL; read STIMULUS aims, goals, and guidelines. | |
