| A non-profit membership organization of educators, scientists, mathematicians, parents, community leaders, and government and corporate representatives whose mission is to promote the continuing advancement in mathematics and science education of all people, with a particular emphasis on the needs of women and girls. The network's major goal is to increase the participation, retention, and advancement of girls and women in mathematics, science, and technology. Read facts about women's representation in higher education and in the natural science and engineering workforces; about past and present programs, including one-day Expanding Your Horizons in Science and Mathematics (EYH) conferences for 6th through 12th grade girls; and about MSN history. | |
