| The mission of SACNAS is to encourage Chicano/Latino and Native American students to pursue graduate education and obtain the advanced degrees necessary for research careers and science teaching professions at all levels. Their Biography Project, for those interested in teaching middle school and high school students about the accomplishments of Chicano/Latino and Native American scientists, offers profiles of scientists, mathematicians and engineers. SACNAS also publishes the SACNAS News, a quarterly journal, conference materials, speakers and information. | |
