Main headings include: Compasses and Bearings; Maps and Charts; Orienteering; Coastal Navigation; Air Navigation; Surveying; Satellite Navigation Systems; and Taking Geometry Seriously (ideas for investigating geometry to a greater extent than allowed for in present courses). A glossary and resources (bibliography, contacts, videos and software, and links to relevant sites) are provided. The site was produced by the 1999 Raybould Tutorial Fellow, Helen Weil, in conjunction with, and with assistance from, Education Queensland, the University of Queensland, and many contributors from schools, businesses and the community.
