| A unit that begins by discussing terms commonly used in statistics, and then explains and constructs frequency distributions, dot diagrams, histograms, frequency polygons, and cumulative frequency polygons. Measures of central tendency including the mean, median and mode of a set of numbers are defined and computed, and measures of dispersion including range and standard deviation are discussed. A set of practice exercises is included following the explanation of each topic. | |
