Book, Music, and DVD Clubs

If you enjoy a hobby or leisure activity such as reading, listening to music, or watching movies, you might consider joining a book club, music club, or video rental club. Most of these clubs have introductory offers. You usually join the club by buying several books, CDs, or DVDs at a very low price and agreeing to purchase a certain number of additional books, CDs, or DVDs at the regular price.

Follow the steps below to complete your book, music, and DVD club project. For each of the clubs listed below, determine the details of their introductory offer and answer each of the following questions.

2. What is your total cost including shipping for these books/CDs/DVDs?

3. How many more books/CDs/DVDs must you purchase to fulfill your club obligation?

4. How much time do you have to complete your club obligation?

5. Does the club offer a good selection of current books/CDs/DVDs?

6. Which book/CD/DVD club would you choose to join based on your research above? Write a convincing argument.
