Title: The Math Forum and ESCOT Present: Interactive Mentored Problems of the Week Description:
In this workshop, attendees will be introduced to the ESCOT project and how it uses interactive software in conjunction with the Math Forum's Problem of the Week (PoW) service. These activities have been designed to address mathematical concepts that middle school students typically have difficulty with. At the workshop, we will interact with ESCOT PoW activities that have been created, learn how the PoW works, and discuss a number of ways in which these activities can be used with students. There will also be some opportunity for teachers to become involved in the ESCOT project and to learn more about the Math Forum. Jody Underwood
