How to Set Up a Multicultural Math Fair

There are many ways that these Multicultural Math Fair Activities can be used in the classroom, but if your school would like to set up a schoolwide Fair the following directions may be helpful.
- Select a location.
- Arrange the room with tables, chairs, and computer equipment.
- Download all necessary programs or locate comparable software at your site. See page of Software for Activities.
- The mathematics teachers should agree on a schedule.
- Each teacher should prepare
Each station should be equipped with
- Manipulatives and/or computer software, as stated in the materials requirements for each activity
- Printed Activity Sheets for each station, laminated and set on or taped to the table.
- Decorations, including a banner identifying the activity.
- Enough copies of Data Sheets or Worksheets for groups of students to work.
Now you are ready for your students to enjoy a Multicultural Math Fair experience!
