Technological contribution: Word processing of the biographical abstracts. (Claris Works)

  • MATHEMATICS: Using survey questions generated by the language arts and history/social science teachers, the learner conducted, collated and presented accumulated survey data in chart and/or computerized form. The data was also shared with two other middle schools, one in Illinois and the other in South Carolina. A web page was created to display comparison data and conversations of the students.

  • RSP: Support was provided both RSP and general education students in in the research, selection, reading, writing, and word-processing of completed reports.

  • TECHNOLOGY: The libary was used for three days during the research process, the internet was used during the research process, and the Macintosh computer lab was used for three days during the writing process. The mathematics teachers used the Macintosh computer classroom and the Macintosh computer lab to use create the bar graphs.
